Secret Agent Man!!! NOT

I feel like I'm on a mission to do something sneaky, like Riley and Nicolas Cage in National Treasure. And yes I did just use a character name and an actor's name. Anyways, I feel like I'm a secret mission, and it's kind of exciting. Oh, I really do wish I were on a secret mission! That would be oh so cool!!!

Ok, so mission accomplished!!!

Tour

I forgot to post this up the other night! It's a tour of our place. Enjoy!

Hmm...what to call this post? I don't know!!!

I get like this every once in awhile, where I don't post anything up here and then I binge blog and post a ton of stuff; funny, huh?

So, I changed my major...again, but good thing I haven't really done anything for it yet, haha. Last year my major was sociology, when I applied again to school for this year, my major was psychology, but then yesterday, I officially declared my major to Communication. I am so excited!!!! And I just can't hide, I can't!!!! I am really looking forward to next semester because a) I'll be taking Communication classes and b) I'll be taking more classes, haha. All this free time is killing me and my friends think that I am crazy, no, they know I am, but now they know what happens when Megan has way too much time on her hands: Homework doesn't get done, which you might think odd, but living in the library does get done, drinking water, eating with friends, basically free for whenever to hang out, but no money. Because if I was taking more classes I would have money? No, but if I was taking 12 credits I could apply for a job on campus, like cleaning out toilets, like Chris does :) Hey, it's better than mucking the stables from way back in the day, horse manure, not a pretty sight; though it smells good, not like perfume good, but like fresh and farmy-like and whole good.

I just feel like my better self, the better, maybe best me. Nah, I don't think I'm there yet. I think I am at my better self right now. Eating lunch ish with Carlee and Chris earlier today and I kept saying stuff, jokes, and who knows what else, and Chris turns to me and says, Megan, you're so bold, I like it. Me too :) It's a good bold, not like the insulting honest bold, but I don't really think that's bold. I think bold has a lot to do with courage. Be courageous enough to tell someone something, being bold, but loving :)
Dictionary.com defines bold like this:
bold
–adjective, -er, -est.
1. not hesitating or fearful in the face of actual or possible danger or rebuff; courageous and daring: a bold hero
4. beyond the usual limits of conventional thought or action; imaginative.

And courage is defined as follows:

cour·age

–noun
1. the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.
2. Obsolete . the heart as the source of emotion. —Idiom
3. have the courage of one's convictions, to act in accordance with one's beliefs, esp. in spite of criticism.

So, even though you may not be able to connect the dots of my random thoughts and ramblings, it is there, you just gotta open your eyes to see it :)

Thus bold and courage go hand in hand, just like two lovers sooo in love <3

Random Thoughts I wanted to share :)

Here are some thoughts from January 21, 2011 Friday:

Hanging out with Chris at Men's Chorus - wait, no, he's in Men's Chorus and I'm hanging out in the back listening because Chris invited me to come.

They are WAY awesome!!! I know a few people here too.

It's fun to see the 'behind the scenes' and then the actual performance or production is totally spectacular because you've seen the growth. I'm glad Chris invited me :) I really do love music.

While I was in there, his teacher said something that I really liked, so I sort of wrote it down.
  1. "It [Barbershop singing] started out as singing in the barbershop. It's suppose to be fun." "Enjoy the experience of fun through singing." "We're here to have fun."
  2. He said, it's ok to be concerned, but don't worry. Concerned helps, while worrying inhibits. Thank you Chris's teacher!

Survey # 1: What is it you truly need to make you happy?

I asked several of my friends this question and one of my friends wanted to know what others had said, so I am going to post them on here, but be not afraid! Your answers are anonymous. So, here are the results of this survey.

Jessi

After dinner, I had fun taking pictures of Jessi while she was doing homework.

....in a turban.....

Dinner with the roomies

Dorm Dinner: One night of the week in which you cook, eat, and wash dishes, and sometimes make cookies, together as a dorm, to make friendships and to have fun. Here is our funness wrapped up in a blog entry by an eccentric confused banana brained writer, Megan.

Here we have our table set so elegantly thanks to Jessi and her marvelous mom who sent them out to her fair daughter.

Our delicious dinner consisted of chicken legs with spices added by Jessi, but alas, she could not add thyme for she had none, though I told her she had all night :) As well as cooked carrots and mashed potatoes with about a pound of butter, not so much, but we did put a lot of butter in. Put some fat on the skinnys - oh wait, that's me, haha.

I was making the mashed potatoes and they weren't done yet so Clare entertained us....

Sitting around the table, or around as we possible can,.
Sarah poses for a picture, but Jessi is just too much into her meal that she just keeps going on :)
This is Clare. Peace sister :)

After dinner, Clare got us really excited to make cookies. I'm glad I bought all that stuff at the grocery store because more than half of the ingredients were mine, but I was so glad to share them with my roomies :)
I think Sarah is gonna eat that flour......
Yummy!!! Look at our chocolate chip cookies!!!
A delicious plate of cookies!
They're going to get me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Jessi and I hanging out and me being soo excited about taking pictures and videos and updating my blog. I think I'm getting a little carried away with it tonight ;)

My roommate and friend, Jessi :)

I stayed inside almost all day today. After I did my laundry, I took a shower, and then Jessi and I went on a walk around campus.

The thing about my photography is that you never know when I'm going to take it and you never really know what your face will look like. That's what I love most: candid shots :) Catching one moment and time, freezing one moment in time, and having a record of that one moment in time :)

This is kind of blurry, but I still really like it.
The Rexburg temple is so beautiful!!!! Jessi wanted to walk up to the temple, but I didn't. Mostly because in my mind I always think that the temple is so far away, when really, here in Rexburg, it totally is not; just something I've got to get over.
And this is the Taylor building. I think it looks so gorgeous with the lights, ,the snow, the trees, and the distant sunset that was oh so beautiful, but my camera couldn't capture that beauty.

Dinner number 2

Last night, yet again, Jessi and Chris, and I got together and we made spaghetti. We had swung by the grocery store earlier to pick up some delicious asiago bread and some mint brownies. Jessi and Chris made dinner while I talked to my sister, Becky, on the phone, for about 25 minutes. :) It was really delicious and even more so because we made it. Go us!!!! Then we went bowling at the MC because Sarah wanted to introduce me to this guy in her I-group, who is also a RM. Then tonight she asked me if I would want to go out on a date with him and I said sure, "I won't say no." Fun times at BYU-I.

We even set the table and got a pitcher of water :)

Our delicious mint brownies :)

A close up of our meal
Jessi was so excited about the meal, she could hardly contain herself :)
Chris on the other hand, was very calm about it all, but thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Socks

My black argyle sock shrunk in the wash...hahaha. eets for a lit'le one now :)

Fun Times at the Laundromat :)

Ok, so my friend, Chris lives in this apartment complex that used to be a hospital and in the basement, a morgue. He's kind of scared of it and we went to check out the laundry room and guess what? There is only 1 washer and only 1 dryer with about 3 inches of water on the floor. And it's small and cramped and reminds me of my old basement in Iowa City, musty and not a place that I want to hang around in. So, Chris, Jessi, and I, piled in his car, with all his dirty laundry, and headed to the local Laundromat. Earlier, we had cooked dinner together and ate, and I really wanted some fun cereal that I had bought from the grocery store. So, I brought the cereal, milk, bowl, and spoon with me to and ate my cereal - 2 bowls :) I asked Jessi to take a picture, then I took one of my 'snack' and then I just got carried away with taking pictures and that's what I'm going to post tonight :) Pictures. Because pictures are worth 1000 words and I have many of them :) So, enjoy the pictures and don't laugh too hard or too loud :)
