ETTE

Ciao Famiglia! Come state? Sto bene.
Well transfer calls were last night and we will be a threesome for another transfer! I am so excited. But for a few days, Sorella Stevens will be in Modena with another sister because the district that is coming in is delayed 2 weeks because there are 3 cases of swine flu in the Provo MTC. None of the missionaries coming to Italy have it, but all missionaries expected to leave for the field this week, must stay in the MTC for 2 weeks to make sure that they are free from any illness. I don't know if you all have heard that or not.

We had a great quick lesson with one of our investigators on Sunday, Elba. She was talking to Sorella Acerson after church and she was asking some questions about the Holy Ghost. So we grabbed a member and went into another room. We answered her questions and all of us felt the Spirit, despite the many distractions we had. I thought it was great to use the situation wisely and teach Elba. She is so amazing and we all thing that she is ready. We hope to invite her to be baptized this week!

Carol was a contact the sisters had before I came. They had tried to get a hold of her forever. We tried last week and we found her! Even this time we really persevered and we found her and we taught her a lesson. She is 18 and she is also ready for the gospel. She is so amazing!!!

Yesterday was a holiday in Italy, so a lot of people didn't have work. We went and found a less-active, Rosi, and she let us in and we taught her a lesson. She is so amazing. It seems like lately, a lot of less-actives that we come across are really great missionaries. She is going to bring a friend this week to church, fast Sunday, it's her favorite Sunday. I love finding less-actives and helping them find that light that is inside of them, getting that spark going. We talked about it this morning and we think that these less-actives have confidence in the gospel, they know that it is true, that's why they share it with others, but they lack knowing that they have a testimony and that they have a lot to give to the world.

Thanks for the letters Mom. We went back to Milano 1 apartment on Friday to do some cleaning and both your letters were in the mail. As far as an address, you can all send it to the mission home address because we go there to have District Meeting 3 Mondays a transfer. And then one week we have zone conference and one week we have interviews. So that's the update on mail.

Well, while Sorella Stevens is gone I am going to learn how to better cook and I will start cooking! Also, Ben, you'll be happy: Sorella Stevens told me of the importance of flossing your teeth. She taught me how to floss my teeth last night and I floseed them last night and this morning and already my teeth feel great! Floss your teeth!

Well, that's about all for this week. Thank you so much for the emails and the things you all shared with me. You all are such a great help to me. I love you all!

Love, Sorella DeVocht

P.S Next week, ask me about animal sacrifices : )
