Hello!
I'm sorry I have not yet written anything for this week - shame on me :( I really have no excuse except for the fact that I'm lazy and I procrastinate like none other and I have a horrible habit of wasting such precious and valuable time. Some things I obviously need to work on.
Though I wasn't planning on writing anything tonight, I guess I could just ramble on to anyone who will read this. Instead of having a point to my blog, such as the weather or people or anything else really.
Last night I came to the conclusion that I've been sucked into this world and I've barely just recognized it. I used to be so much better when I was in high school. Doing good, serving others, setting goals and reaching them, always thinking of others, and keeping my life together. Well, it's not so much that my life isn't together now, it's more like it's hanging on by some flimsy string and I'm watching it and I'm not doing anything about it. But now I must! I must! I must! I must! Because if I don't do anything about it, someone else is going to. And I'd rather they not.
All the world really wants from me is my money and that's about all I can think of for now. I went to Kmart last night and as I walked out, empty-handed, having not given in to throw my money in the dirt, I felt wonderful! Like I had done a great and marvelous thing. It felt so nice to be outside in the fresh crisp air, even though it was about 30 degrees, it felt like heaven! It was so glorious! I will hopefully not give in so much to the world that demands so much of my attention and gives so little in return. What do I have to gain or what do I have to show for when my life is in the world? Not much.
I really need to get a hold of my life, take a bridle and lead myself to the right way, that is, before someone else does.

What are we going to DO about it?
Why is it so hard for me to wake up and get out of bed in the morning? Everyday, it happens; and I have no clue why. I need to change my schedule, I need to do not so fun things first, and then when they’re all done, I can relax or enjoy doing fun things and not having to worry about getting other thing done. I need to change. I so want to change. It just drives me crazy. I also want this pencil to make scratchy noise, but it isn’t, so I keep writing ‘til it does. But what’s the point of that? It’s this weird feeling and love and addiction I think I have. I don’t know why I have these weird things in my life. But I guess it’s better to ask what can I do to replace these than to figure out why. Sometimes in life, actually often times we spend more time and energy on why something has or has not happened or whatever. I don’t think that’s the point of life: to figure out WHY of everything. We just need to accept what happens and decide what to do from there. What are we going to DO about it?
And a lot of times you won’t ever figure out why, so just accept the fact that you don’t know everything, that God has His reasons, just like we do; and though there is a reason to everything, perhaps we wouldn’t understand it, even if God did tell us.
Why do we not trust God that things will work out? It’s almost like we think we know more than God by asking why, and not putting our faith in Him and letting Him guide us to Him. How awesome is that! God sends us down to earth to prepare us to meet and return home to God. He also will tell you all that you need to do to accomplish that.
It's like getting directions from the person you're trying to get to, but not only that, they're right there; all you have to do is call them and ask for help, and they'll tell you just what you need to do. But you have to remember that even though He is always there for you, He will not to everything for you, what I mean is, He will not tell you all things to do. Such as which brand of carrots to buy, or what pair of shoes to wear to a date, or whether you should read a book or call a friend. You do have agency so use it!
But then again, don't act like you know more than God because you don't. It's like sometimes we think we know more than God, our creator does. He know everything about everything; we know a lot of things, but defintely not everything. Why do we always do this? Why don't we just do what the Lord tells/asks us to do and that's it? There I go again asking why. I want to do what the Lord asks and tells me to do it; it would be a lot simplier than trying to figure out what the world wants of me because it changes all the time! I've got to stop hanging out so much in the world, but dive into living water and drink it up and never thirst again.
How can I change myself? How can I break these worldly, natural man habits? I want to be able to control my whole self some day, self-mastery, and it's got to start today. What can I do today that will help me get there? Perhaps getting my priorites right/straight, whatever, it needs to stop. So instead of being on the computer for three hours when I first get home from work, I should do the things that need to be done, fill the rest of your time with pebbles and life will be good.

Happy is rain on a summer evening
I have come to discover that 'feelings' aren't just your happy and sad, mad, glad, upset, angry, type of feelings. There's more to it than that. An experience, or memory can have a feeling that you can only feel when that situation is around, or it's over with each experience you have. But sometimes you can reminisce certain feelings while thinking about an experience you could have. I love those feelings. Feelings you can't describe in one word. It's not happy, it's a million other things. Like happy is rain on a summer evening. Happy is a sincere smile from a loved one.
Songs can also create great memories. Whether it be one night, a week, a month, a year, or a chapter in your life. And then that song can change feelings, I mean, you can have a certain feeling with a song; but then that feeling changes because you have created new feelings and new memories with that song.
I love how all this mushy stuff is all connected. It makes me so happy!!!
It's kind of weird, actually; because whenever I get on here to write/type something, I have NOTHING to say. But when I'm at work, going to sleep, anywhere esle really, I have a million ideas. Then as soon as I log on, it's like someone came and took all my ideas!!! Oh well, I haven't been writing a lot lately, so I'm probably just a little rusty.
Well, yet again, I have run out of things to say, sad day.
Until next time

Introduction
Hello! I am S.T. Harriot. I am a writer, an amateur at that. I love to express my views and opinions about life. I may not always say things the best possible way, but I do try.
I created this blog to be able to empty my thoughts, sort through them and then organize them. It is great to write down how you are feeling, in fact, it is quite healthy. It is also somewhat comforting when you know that others may be reading your thoughts and maybe someone is going through the same thing(s) that you are going through.
I am not going to describe much about myself because that is not really important. What is important is that I express myself, whether is sounds glorious or horrendous. When you express yourself, you say, 'hey! this is me! this is how i think, this is what i do, this is what i love, this is what i hate, this is what i care about' that's what expressing yourself is. You can express yourself in many different ways, and we all probably do express ourselves in different ways. For me, I love to write, take photos, journaling - sort of like scrap booking, but in my own special way :)
Unfortunately, my brain is not working properly today - my writing creativeness has left me and my spelling sucks. Hopefully the next time I write, it will be a little bit better.
Until then
